Description:
1. Integrated lacing and tightening in a single operation
The NCH Auto Lacing and Tightening Machine (CH-40-13) combines spoke lacing (nipple feeding, driving, and insertion) with simultaneous nipple tightening and tension adjustment. This setup allows the machine to tighten spokes to a target tension during the lacing process, which can reduce the time needed for subsequent truing steps.
2. Support for a range of rim sizes and types
It accommodates rim diameters from 20" to 29" and is suitable for both single-wall and double-wall rims.
3. Drive and control system
The machine uses 5 servo motors and 2 stepping motors to handle precise movements, including automatic correction for variations in nipple hole positions and adjustments for up/down and left/right tension.
Production capacityIt achieves a capacity of approximately 50–70 pieces per hour for 36-spoke wheels (under standard conditions).
Power and utility requirements
- Power supply: 3-phase 380V 50Hz, approximately 1 kW.
- Air pressure: 0.4–0.6 MPa, with air consumption around 25 L/min.
